Second day first morning on train

We were woken at 0600 a with a gentle voice saying we would be inBroken Hill in 15 minutes.I chad signed up for a tour so quickly dressed.  Our train is so long that only a part of it fits on the platform
We are towards the front so we get off first...by the time Mary got up she had to walk a considerable distance towards the back of the trainable
It was interesting to see the town which used to be 75000. NOw only about 12000'
But I think of the Broken Hill propriety company which supported the Canadian orospector Wayne Fipke when he was telling the story of diamonds in the North West Territories after the Canadianmine companies sneered,,,how wrong they were
We also went to a art gallery opened especially I ally for us,,,sparkling wine and orange juice.
And hot nub keys..the gLlery was interesting and the guy
Y although dead is famous and his modern paintings are priceless
