Australian cooking demo

From time to time I attend the culinary teaching kitchen which is held in one of he theatres...for those of you the wang theatre.
The. Menu ...meat pie. and Lamingtons (cake)
Well the Canadian chef,a dreamy looking guy who is teased unmercifully  y the show host a gorgeous girl from Mississippi, started to fry onions and mince (ground beef) and the the show host asked if this was the right meat....a universal cry from about a hundred Aussie
Voices.....NO
Usually Itis cut up meat. Or lamb etc
He continue used man ingredient was Vegemite
The chef tastes it and made a terrible face and did not add it,,,but he broke an egg into the mixture
another roar of what you doing mate? The egg is to wash over the pastry...and so on

Finally he startedon the cake and an older woman from the audience got up and said,,,for heavens sake let me do it....and the show became funnier by the minute,,,

Wekas sedan unknown island and Mary demanded to know its name...most of the officer staff goofed off saying...oh it is. Amsterdam,,,or Singapore
U tilMary blew her top,,,finally one of the Indonesian officers let her phone the front desk..and we found out it was called. Mana HO Tonga, really not much the wiser we left fairly contented
Then we went to a talk about the history of New Caledonia...a French protectorate,,,from the description it looks absolutely wonderful.  Our guide said it  had the best coffee,,unlike Starbucks that he described as a chemical experiment.
