in some of your emails...and I am so pleased always to hear from you...writing this. log is like being in a vacuum...all one way, so it is marvellous to get a letter or two

When we were in Cairns and we took the  train  to Kunera.  we walked up a fair distance to the town and thenwe also toured quite a bit...so   we were on our way to the rail road for the return journey. it suddenly seemed a llong way...and indeed it was...'Mary is doing fine, lots of energy , despite having to walk up three flights of stairs regularly

We leave here the 21 st flying to Suva and then to Hawaii,arriving there the 22nd.  we are there for 5 days when we catch a  midnight flight arriving Seattle then on to Victoria 1030 the 28th november.

if the weather is awful we may leave earlier...will let people know.
