Halloween

So Mary and I are sitting in a pub/type place and to my astonishment. People kept arriving dressed in. Costumes...well designed....roman generals...oak leafs is their hair.,.. Complete troup  of Indians with feathered head dresses,,etc and slowly the penny dropped....Halloween

Had a fabulous breakfast,although Mary not impressed with porridge,

Chef offered poached eggs ,,yes please,,,eventually he arrived eggs plus a large plate covered

In cheese cake and crumbled cookies, as usual very hard to understand ,  but we both heard.....something special for you madam....Mary dutifully ate it , just because , she said, he was kind.

Mary horrified to learn what it was, but very graciously thanked the chef via our two waiters, one from France, the other from Toronto.

Have spent several hours at the visitor centre ....we now have the next 4 days organized,,,,a ride on a duck bus....and hop on hop off....and.....more
